UWL rockets up the new Times/Sunday Times university rankings
The University of West London has climbed 28 places, which makes an astonishing rise over the last two years of 65 places in total in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018. Read more about this achievement here.

Angela Roper Book Launch

Monday 29 January 2018, 6.30pm

Alumni of the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism are cordially invited to the launch of the new book by Professor Angela Roper, Emeritus Professor of the International Centre for Hotel and Resort Management at the University of West London.

Published by Routledge, the book provides Professor Roper's analysis of how and why the global hotel industry has undergone a structural transformation ovcer recent decades.

The evening provides an excellent opportunity to network with many of the contributors to the book who are leading players in the industry and to hear Professor Roper provide a brief account of how she sees the future of the industry as a result of her research.

Annual Alumni Fundraising Dinner with guest chef, Andreas Antona.

Thursday 08 March 2018, 6.30pm

The fifth annual alumni fundraising dinner will be held on Thursday 8th March 2018, so save the date. We are delighted to welcome alumnus Andreas Antona (City & Guilds Cookery for the Catering Industry,1976) as guest chef for the evening. Andreas is a highly successful chef and restaurateur and owns two Michelin starred restaurants in Birmingham and surrounds, Simpsons and The Cross Kenilworth. The evening will not only offer guests an extraordinary culinary experience but also the opportunity to network with fellow graduates. Put this date in your diary, tickets will go on sale in the new year.

Launch of the Heathrow Archive

March 2018, date to be announced

Thanks to generous support from Heathrow Airport and the Heritage Lottery Fund, the University has been granted a unique opportunity to host Heathrow Airport’s historical archive.
