We have a variety of services and benefits available to members of the University of West London Alumni Association. 

Alumni Cards

Borrowing rights at the Library

Former students can access the University of West London Library and borrow up to three books on three week loan.  Access and borrowing rights are subject to alumni having an Alumni Card, more information on which can be found in the section above.

Continued access to campus and use of the UWL Shuttle Bus

UWL graduates are able to gain continued access to areas of the campuses and travel between them for free on the University's Shuttle Bus.

To access this benefit alumni will need to hold a valid Alumni Card, which can be requested above.

Discounts on Room Hire

UWL graduates are eligible for a 20% discount on the hire of meeting rooms, dance studios and conference and kitchen facilities. For further information visit or email, quoting your Alumni Card number.*

Quarterly e-newsletter

Members of the Alumni Association can receive the latest news from the University of West London direct by email four times a year. To ensure you receive the newsletter please update your details via the link on the right hand side of this page.

Alumni Magazine

Your University is the magazine for alumni and supporters of UWL. Please click here to read the latest edition. If you are a registered member of the Alumni Association who did not receive the magazine in the post, and would like a copy, then please email with your current postal address.

Careers and Employment Support

Whether it’s a bit of support and advice, or help with finding a job, the University of West London Careers and Employment Service are here to help you make the transition from university to employee.

Postgraduate Study Discounts

Alumni who have completed a three year undergraduate degree at the University of West London, or one of its predecessor institutions, may be eligible for an exclusive discount on postgraduate course tuition fees at the University. For further details, please visit our postgraduate webpages:

LCM Live

Alumni are entitled to a discounted rate for tickets to certain LCM Live events and performances.

To access this benefit alumni will need to hold a valid Alumni Card, which can be requested above. Your Alumni Card must be presented when collecting your tickets at the Box Office.

Whether you are looking for a hoodie, T-shirt or thermal mug, the University of West London online shop has everything you could need to remind you of your time with us. 

Pillars Restaurant

Pillars is the award-winning training restaurant of The London School of Hospitality and Tourism.

Offering guests a contemporary and elegant dining experience Pillar’s is a specially designed educational environment where students learn the art of fine service and culinary practices with the support of our Chef and Food and Beverage lecturers.

Pillars is open for lunch service four days a week and Thursday’s for dinner service during term-time.

SU Gym Membership

Alumni are now eligible for a preferential rate when signing up for an annual membership with the Student Union Gym.

To access this benefit alumni will need to hold a valid Alumni Card, which can be requested above.


Printing Services

Alumni Card holders can use the Central Reprographics Unit (CRU) for printing services from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, who are based in Room BY.04.004 on the fourth floor of the Lady Byron building at St Mary’s Road in Ealing. Payment can be made by cash or card and the price list can be found here. Please provide your Alumni Card number (beginning 400) when booking in a job and give as much notice as possible for your print requests, especially during busy periods of the academic year.

Information on services available can be found here or contact to discuss your printing needs. The CRU also operate a booth on campus on The Street from 10am-3pm term time, for alumni to discuss their print requirements.
